Now that the Supreme Court of California has ruled that it is legal to disestablish marriage rights for minorities, it is time to do the same for other unwanted minorities. I propose a constitutional amendment banning Mormon marriage. There were no Mormon marriages before 1830, when a radical change in the definition of marriage occurred, allowing Mormons to be married. This was and is a clear threat to the sanctity of marriage. If we allow Mormons to get married, what's next, allow Catholics to get married? Think of the children! Studies indicate that children in large families are on average less educated and more delinquent than in smaller families. Since Catholic and Mormon families, on average, are larger than the average American family, this poses a real risk to the children, and to the marital institution that protects them by placing them in families that believe in contraception.
Since this is my first post, I should mention that this is entirely satirical. Hopefully the reader was able to figure that out on his or her own.
